It was love at first Skype for me with Megan and Lauren. I think we spent .5 minutes talking about wedding photos, and 25 more minutes getting to know each other and laughing about life. Their love story is beautiful, and my retelling of it wouldn’t do it justice…let it suffice to say that these two were destined to walk the path of life together.
I was greeted with giant hugs from both of them, and from the minute I walked into their hotel room I felt like I was part of the club. Their families and friends were so genuine and lovely and full of excitement for these two lovelies. They kept their day simple, and true to themselves, and when we threw our timeline out the window to soak it all in, they didn’t bat an eye.
Their ceremony was beautiful and intimate, taking place in the Boston Public Garden where her guests gathered in synchronized spontaneity and gathered around them as they said their vows. They then shuffled off across town to Commonwealth Cambridge, one of my new favorite spots and at the top of my list to try out on a random Boston day.
As we said goodnight, I felt a little sad that it was all over. It was such a wonderful, easy day full of love…I woke up the next morning missing my new friends but still glowing from all the smiles!
